01/18/2009 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has laughed off reports linking captain John Terry with a $59.2 million move to Manchester City.
Terry missed Saturday's dramatic late 2-1 victory over Stoke City after picking up an injury in the warm-up.
Scolari revealed that he expected the England defender to be back in action "within three days," but was swift to reject media reports that Terry could be on the way to big-spending City.
"Maybe some clubs want John Terry," he mused. "Ask John if he wants to go - 'no'. Why? Because he loves Chelsea. When you love Chelsea you stay here and finish."
Meanwhile, Scolari admitted that Frank Lampard's last-gasp winner against Stoke had eased the pressure on him.
"What you need, Frank gives to you," added the Brazilian. "He is a man. Before I have some pressure, now I don't have pressure.
"Frank is part of the history of this club. He is a fantastic player and he and his family will remember his goal in the last minute of his 400th appearance."
However, Scolari denied further suggestions that a second snub in the space of a week for unsettled striker Didier Drogba signaled the end of his Stamford Bridge career.
Drogba was dropped for the midweek FA Cup win at Southend United and was again omitted for the visit of the Potters.
"I didn't have Drogba on the bench, I had (Miroslav) Stoch and (Franco) Di Santo and they give to me what I want," he claimed.
"It was my choice not to have Drogba. He is training every day and it is only my choice. Maybe next week, I choose him to play or stay with us in the 18 players. It is a choice of mine, that's all.
"I don't have anything against Drogba or any player at the club. I have to follow the idea of the board and my idea for the future of Chelsea.
"I am the coach and it was my choice and today two young kids offered me more than Didier."

MySportsbook.com refunds all bets on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay from NFL week one.
(September 14) – Week one of NFL action saw three teams go scoreless for the first time since 1977. Another four were unable to get a touchdown and almost half of the underdogs covered the spread. Those three teams saved bettors at MySportsbook.com from losing out completely, thanks to the company’s unique NFL Shutout Rule -- which ensures that if the team you backed goes scoreless, your wager is refunded.
Sportsbook refunded tens of thousands of dollars to customers who bet on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay, the three teams that stunk up the field so badly that their fans and backers never had a chance to get up from their couches and cheer. In the spirit of the low scoring start to the season, odds makers at the world’s largest online sportsbook and casino have set odds on how many total shutouts there will be this season.
MySportsbook.com has posted updated sports betting lines for week two of the season. Ben Roethlisberger’s health status is still questionable, so Willie Parker will try to lead Pittsburgh again as they travel to Jacksonville as a one point favorite. After beating up on his little brother last week, Peyton Manning will look to lead the Colts to victory against Houston. Indianapolis is a whopping 13.5 favorite in the match-up.
Seattle, last year’s highest scoring team, showed the power of their defense with their gritty 9-6 win in Motown over the ravenous Lions. They take their act back home to the comforts of Qwest Field where they will face the resurgent Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks are favored by a touchdown.

Will Ohio State continue to run the table in College Football betting odds?
MySportsbook.com favors Buckeyes, Fighting Irish and Golden Bears in this weekend's big games.
NEW YORK, NY, Sept. 21 - My Sportsbook NCAA football fans: things are beginning to get really interesting on college football's national stage. Following last weekend's "Separation Saturday", which included five teams ranked in the top 15 dropping games, the BCS Championship picture is beginning to take shape - with Ohio State leading the charge. And, according to odds makers at MySportsbook.com, the number-one-ranked Buckeyes will continue their winning ways this weekend.
Revenge will be the name of the game in Columbus this Saturday, as Ohio State looks to even the score following last season's loss to Joe Paterno's Nittany Lions. Although Penn State are listed as 16.5 point underdogs, they are 11-10 all-time versus the Buckeyes. Paterno and the Lions, however, will have to shut down Heisman Trophy favorite Troy Smith who has thrown for 769 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
Speaking of revenge, Notre Dame will be out for some against Michigan State, following last year's 44 - 41 overtime loss to the Spartans in South Bend. The thirteenth-ranked Irish, listed as a 3-point favorite, will also be looking to avenge last Saturday's thrashing from the Michigan Wolverines. The Spartans, meanwhile, have won seven of the last nine match-ups against Notre Dame and are coming off an impressive 38-23 victory over Pittsburgh.
Out west, 22nd-ranked Arizona State will be battling for their first victory over 21st-ranked California since 2000. Although the Golden Bears are listed as 7.5-point favorites, the Sun Devils are 3-0, lead the nation in sacks with 18 and possess the Pac-10's leading passer in sophomore quarterback Rudy Carpenter.
